I have answered this question in another post, but here's the answer again..

I currently live in China and have spent a lot of time researching this issue. The best solution I've found is to set up your own free proxy on Googles servers. I've written a guide telling you how to set it up here http://mrjetlee.com/facebook-from-china/ and there's a video teaching how to set it up here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqlmX0ws-1s

There are a lot of posts linking to a "how-to-access" website, these are made by spam bots, in the end you will need to pay money for a service.

to unblock Facebook take a look at this website: http://www.how-to-unblock.com
I used it and I am not a technical type of person and I was happy that it was so simple to use. As apposed to a VPN where you have to download applications, with a proxy you just open your browser and sign in. Good luck!

I signed up through http://www.how-to-access.com/how-to-access-facebook-in-china on two of my last trips, and it worked well for me.

You can unblock websites at your network if you bypass your browsing log from your network IP and this can be done via a strong encrypted layer between your n/w and system.
unlike a proxy, a VPN will also encrypt your traffic, and will usually get you better speeds.

I used the method described here

I am using this VPN provider https://www.waselpro.com/en/ for a couple of months. unblocks Facebook, YouTube, HULU etc. when i was in china it works the best for me and i managed to bypass the firewall.

You can access Facebook in China with a proxy. You can read this guide http://unblock-proxy.co/use-unblock-proxy-to-unblock-youtube-in-china and you can use a free trial offered to make sure you can access whichever websites you would like to access in China. The proxy I use which is recommended here is a secure proxy.
