I'm going to italy this summer to study abroad and i'd like to document the trip with a pocket camcorder. I've been looking at the Sony Bloggie, Creative Vado HD, the Flip and the kodak zi8. I don't want to spend too much because im saving for the trip but i was wondering what the best option would be for video quality and low light ability?

hello,

I got a Flip video and for the price I have paid I thimk it's fine. It does not take much space and the quality isn't so bad either. the only downside is that the batteries run out quite quickly.

Flip videos are going cheap now (50 bucks or so) in Canada anyways (perhaps US too).

I got a Kodak Playsport though recently because it is waterproof. ($100)

I would go against the flip, to mean the quality just is not there, feels a bit flimsy..

I personally love my little samsung, its waterproof, freeze proof and has stood up pretty good
