I am very challenged technically. We are travelling to Europe for a 3 month bike trip and have a Samsung Galaxy Ace mobile phone - this is unlocked. I of course realise that roaming from here (NZ) will break the bank unless we turn data off. Is there a sim card that we can buy that will cover more than one country in Western Europe. We will be travelling through about 8 countries - germany will probably be the one we will be in most. Can see how useful it would be to us if we had some data features. What is the most economical way we can do this
Thanks
Tricia

Most economical is to get a SIM in each country with data plan.

Most convenient (but you pay a little more than the above, but less than roaming from NZ) is to buy something like TravelSIM (.com.au) or amaysim (.com.au) or gosim .com or similar. These cards have arrangements with various ISPs/Telcoms worldwide and charge you a lower rate than roaming.

Do a search in this forum on 'international SIM' - lots of posts already about this topic.

Good luck.
