AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I'm sure this subject has been covered but for my life I can't find anything. I'm American (US) and want to buy a camper/motorhome in Germany. There seem to be only an expensive few available in England at present. I have family in England and Ireland and would like to know what it takes to license and register such a vehicle in the UK. The insurance company I used in the 60s in Germany will write a policy. Please give me your advice or as is likely tell me where the answers are already posted.
