What are the best recharegeable batteries for a digital camera that last a decent length of time? What's the best way of storing the batteries when not using the camera as I leave them in the camera and can't take many pics without recharging?

When you say last a decent length of time? I assume you mean shots per charge rather than the life expectancy of the battery. If you look in dp revew you should get a good idea of the shots per charge.

I'm guessing that you use AAs? Try Enloops. They are a new type of NiMH AAs that don't self-discharge like normal NiMH AAs.

Bob, it always helps if you spell the brand correctly ;)

Assuming you mean AA's: Sanyo Eneloop, or perhaps Uniross Hybrio, Hähnel Synergy

If you're not using the device for a while, it might be worth taking them out of it - in case the device itself slowly runs them down.

Guess my Gogle is smarter than yours. It corrects me when I serach with in incorrect spelling. Which I do freqently. ;o)

Rayovac also has a version which they call HYBRID.

BTW, the new hybrids seem to hold up well in cold temperatures, unlike earlier NiMH batteries.
