I want to put my photos online so that friends can see them. I looked on the photo branch and saw a recommendation for flickr. When I tried to use it it worked (my photos uploaded) but I can't actually see them. Just a blank box with an x in the corner.

Is there something I can change (the settings or something) so I can actually see the photos?

Thanks

When you first upload photos to flickr, your account is what they call pending which just means that they're checking your photos are legit and ok to have in the public area. You have to upload a minimum of 5 photos. once they've checked your photos and they've been accepted, you'll be able to see them. It can take a few days though. Once you've signed in, you can send an email to the admin/support asking them what the hold up is.

If you're logged in, but can't see them still, then there's a good chance that your browser settings are the problem. Flickr serves the HTML from one server, and the images from another, so check that you can see the images on TrekEarth; if you can't, then it's browser settings.
