I own one of these cameras as of yesterday. It uses a rechargeable D-LI63 battery, which (I'm assuming - perhaps wrongly) is the battery sold with it everywhere. I have the U.S. charger (D-BC63) that came with it, but I'm headed to France and hate messing with adaptors. Would I be correct in guessing that I can walk into any old camera shop in France when I arrive and purchase the french version of the same charger?
Treat me gently, it may be a silly question but I don't ordinarily post here and the camera is smarter than I am ... thanks for any help! I did check Lan's page and didn't quite see this addressed.

Look on the back of your charger. Most these days are multivoltage. They say something like "100-240 volts 50-60 hertz".
If yours does all you need is a simple plug adapter.
If using a plug adapter bothers you then just change the plug on your charger when you get there.
(My guess is that it won't be easy to find a non-AA battery charger. They just aren't something that is commonly seen on store shelves.)
