On my Dell laptop every time it loads a wepage with a photo on, if I hover my mouse over the photo it says 'Press ShiftR to improve the image quality'. If you press ShiftR it reloads a better version of the image.

Is there any way to turn this off so that it just downloads the higher quality versions automatically??

Thanks.

Hmmm - can't find anything in Internet Explorer help. Can you point me in the right direction please?

having a quick look around suggests that it's your ISP that's doing this: more here

Have you ever tried Firefox? It's a free replacement for Internet Explorer that has more features and is more secure...
