I am on the roads again as from 6th April.
This time i intend to take my gps along, a portable Garmin gps 60.
Will that be a problem in China ?
This is because i intend to walk a lot.

You probably don't want to change GPS's, of course, but if you will be spending a lot of time in cities, Garmin has recently introduced a new GPS receiving technology which they say does significantly better in and around built up cities, buildings, etc. I am considering a new one, and went to the REI web site to do some research. If Garmin is to be believed, it is a much better technology for those of us who have found issues with reception in built up areas.
Not sure how long your trip is, or how dedicated you are to your GPS, but it might be worth looking into. Have a great trip.
