Hi folks,

I'm going travelling with a group of friends all of august, and I don't want money to be a problem between us. You know, we're gonna put out money for each other all the time.

Do you have any experience with the group economy app? (www.groupeconomy.eu) - will it do the job?

Thx guys

One of the group is the banker. Others give him money, he pays all common expenses - transport, food, accommodation, entrance fees, activities. When money is up everybody puts in money again.
Individual costs - shopping, drinks in the evening - to be paid individually.

The app seems a good idea for avoiding arguments.
I havent used the app but from my own experience using the monopoly and scrabble apps rather thn DIY games avoids any chance of an argument. So I suppose the same principle would apply.

Luckily the OP found time to register with thorn tree to ask this question. How would they cope!

I don't get this problem. But then again, I don't try to travel for $5 a day either like some people try to do.

Yes. Same thoughts here. If you have arguments with people about money while being on the road together you need new travel buddies not an app.

If you can't handle travel expenses in a easy way then no thanks for me, don't want to quibble because of a few cents or bucks or have to enter every silly amount into an app.

But to each its own.
