Hi... Just wanting to know where is better price wise to buy a new camera Singapore or Japan.
Anyway info appreciated

I've found that you can get more cutting edge technology in Singapore than you can in Australia but it's more expensive.

For example, I purchased (duty-free) a canon 430EX flash unit for S$480. The same unit in Australia (retail) is $380

Not sure about Japan's prices.

I believe the cheapest location is Hong Kong.

Japans pricing from what i've seen is a tad more than US or Hong Kong pricing.
