Has anyone bought a laptop in India before? If so where?
I'm going to Mumbai in a few days and am thinking of buying one and was wondering what sort of price to expect. I would want one for digital photography, burning CDs etc as well as using it to surf the web, write my blog etc.
Also, probably a daft question, but if I want to connect to the internet (at an internet cafe) then I assume I still need to pay for my own internet service provider?
Can anyone help?

where are you travelling from? You won't get any warranty with a laptop bought in india outside of the country. also, with international brads, there won't be any saving vs your own country as the indian market probably isn't as competitive compared to europe, the us and japan.
if you still want to get a laptop in india, perhaps cross post on the india branch and you'll get more responses
