Is it really that much cheaper than in the UK? And where are the best places to buy? I´m looking at a Dell laptop worth about GBP 800 with decent speed and memory but thought it might be cheaper to buy there. Can you get one with the English version of Windows Vista Home Premium? Thanks a lot!

Since Dell sell direct, it's probably not worth buying one in HK - well check their website to make sure, but probably not.
Other laptop brands are cheaper, and more widely available. Mongkok Computer Centre is probably the best option, but it's not as good as Singapore IMO.
HKgolden list some laptop prices.
As usual with HK, avoid Nathan Rd, particularly the low end. Scams abound.
