I recently bought the new iPad and now trying to figure how to read LP guides that I bought on it most effectively.

After I downloaded the paid files, I saved them on my laptop and then email it as attachment to my own gmail account, which I then open on my iPad and then click "read on Fileaapp", which is another PDF reader app I downloaded. It gets saved the along with all other files, which is good since it acts as a library.

The problem is that there are nonpage index. I have to open another file to check the contents page for page number, and then scroll down until I reach that page and it is painstakingly slow. I also have no way of bookmarking the page.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better app to use? Being able to bookmark several pages of the places I intend to visit will be extremely useful. Also, is there a way to read two pages at the same time like an open book? Almost all of LP's map pages are on two pages and it is extremely inconvenient to have to figure which roads join with which.

good reader is one of my favourite readers for my ipod touch. Haven't played around PDFs for a while for IOS but sometimes if you rotate to landscape mode some programs will let you do a dual view.

If you really want you could extract the PDFs or make the map into a single image and just view it as a picture or make a copy of the PDF with your own edits (move things around delete pages merge pages etc...)
