AVG FREE ANTI-VIRUS

Currently use it as my primary AV solution. No problems so far :)

I've used it for over three years and install it on all of my client's computers. No problems. It has found viruses that other commercial products failed to find. No cons.

The current version, which I guess you must have since it updates, is 7.5. It has a good reputation and is used by thousands. Maybe millions.
Other worthwhile free AV's include Avast and Avira, both recommended/popular. See Here for various comparisons.

Been using it for about 5 years or so now I think. Never used any other anti-virus software.

My employer provides me with an expensive commercial one. I don't use it. I installed AVG and it is the only one I update and use.

It seems it's getting a general thumbs up then.

#6 I thought the free AVG can't be used commercially - plus your company is going to be upset if you don't use the security systems that THEY provided - even if they are crap

I've used it for years - along with my free firewall it has worked great! I have had no 'blue screen of death' with it ever...
