Acer Netbook - cracked/stained screen?

If its not a physical crack, theres no reason for them to not replace it under warranty. When my sons laptop went for repair, Lenovo made all the arrangements for couriouring it to the repair outfit. His was bought outside the country we live in as well.

It most likely is, just not on the outermost screen layer.
