ok, i'll be traveling around this christmas and i could really use some help figuring out the cheapest way to get from place to place. it's so hard to figure out because many websites only use their native language!
ok here goes:
sofia, bg --> istanbul (round trip)
sofia, bg --> budapest (this one is giving me the most trouble)
*unless, would it be much cheaper to go straight from istanbul to budapest?
budapest --> vienna
vienna --> munich
any tips would be much appreciated! thanks!
Hi there!
We are venturing to Europe next week (we'll be going to London, Spain, Paris and Italy). We have Australian ATM cards (commonwealth bank) with 4 digit pin codes, with the maestro/cirrus logos.
Anyone had any major dramas with these kinds of cards and withdrawing money?
Thanks,
H
Hi everyone,
i am really hoping somebody can help me.
i live in england, and i really need to get out of the 9-5 office work. I really want to become a multi activity instructor/guide. But as I have no official qualifications or experience, I wondered if anybody knows of a company which offers apprenticeship and is actually a great place to live, good social life and location.
This job would make me really happy and i've looked alot on the internet but i haven't found anything gets me excited.

Do most European hotels provide soap and shampoo as US hotels do? We are staying in the 65 euro to 100 euro class of hotel in major cities (Rome, Venice, Naples, Florence). Thanks
I have a friend who will be traveling for 3 and a half weeks next summer. She takes several pills a day - both over-the-counter and prescription. Can she fill her 7 -day pill boxes with these pills? She will have copies of her prescriptions for the prescribed ones, but what about the others (Calcium, multivitamin, vitamin C, ibuprophen, etc.)? Has anyone ever been questioned as to exactly what the over-the counter pills are you are carrying? or should she keep them all in the original…
Hi,
I'm going travelling round europe next year. I'm doing my planning now and i've never travelled before, so am a bit lost already :S
Are there any website with european rail journey durations and what routes they would take (like, for UK rail travel, there are a couple of sites that let you put in where you're going from and to and it shows how long it would take, how many changes and where it would change)
Also, I'm looking at getting a couple of month long rail passes, I've seen there are…
Hi,
Does anyone have any ideas for a ladies trip in Europe? My friends and I will be travelling from the UK (probably June or so 2008) and we are looking for a place to go. We are ages 26-28.
Any suggestions? We are looking for something that is not too costly, but we are not students or broke either :)
Thanks!
Im visiting a friend who has moved to Alpredrete near Guardarama in Spain, northwest of Madrid. Could anyone please reccomend a cheap place to stay?
Thanks
Hi all. In the process of filling out my passport application and am wondering what the best course of action is for explaining backpacking plans under the 'Travel Plans' section. We know when we're leaving and where we're flying into, but in terms of length of stay & countries we're visiting, that is completely open. We may stay 6 months or even up to a year depending on how frugal we're able to be. How strict are they about this? For those of you who have backpacked extensively and didn't have…
I'm planning to travel europe from january to march, and whilst i'm quite happy to brave the cold for some of the time, i think i might be longing for somewhere not bitterly cold at some stage. I'm very open to where to travel in europe.
So where in europe are the "warmer" places to visit during the months of jan, feb and march? all i can think of at the moment is spain, portugal and the warmer areas of france and italy.
