I am traveling from Venice to Pula on May 12, 13 or 14th and I cannot seem to find a ferry to take. I am traveling with a bike so I don't think a bus will be suitable so a ferry seems to be the answer. Unfortunately, Venezialines has not posted any times for that time period. Does anyone know if the Venice to Pula ferry still runs? If not, what would be my best bet to get to Pula from Venice during that time period?

hope this isnt a stupid question but for reservations as i have a rail pass (adult 1st class) does that mean i have to reserve a 1 st class seat? i guess it would but just want to make sure as i only bought the 1 st class as i had no choice (im over 26) but when i looked up train reservation fees/supplement costs the 1st class was significantly more than the 2nd class reservation fee. i honestly prefer 2nd class if i am allowed to do this, i dont want to spend double just to be in first class…

Hey all, I am 20, female, and wanting to travel europe for the first time. I am from australia and havent done much travelling, so i am really excited. i am looking at going june july this year, and have made up a bit of a mock itinery with my companions.
it looks like this-

Looking for suggestions for a clean hostel in a good location in amsterdam. Looking for the 20 - 40$ dollar range. Will be checking out museums, cafes, and such. I am 29, and want a social atmosphere but not a crazy party type place. I'm sure this has been discussed numerous times, but the search didnt help me much.

So I am 26, traveling by myself in april and May and I am wondering the difference between the 1st and 2nd class on the train. Is it worth the extra money for 1st class? What is the advantage/perks?

I am a 26 year old single male traveling to Europe for the first time and I am going to Italy (cinque terre, rome, pisa, florence, venice), Germany (munich, colone and not sure where else), Amsterdam, Prague, and England and want to see some cool waterfalls, and experience some extreme sports (mabye some cliff diving) and some sports that my not be extreme but different then what I am use to. Please let me know if you know of some cool stuff for me.
