Viena New years 2008

HI, I am thinking that I might need to book a hotel for New Years eve in Vienna many months ahead of time. I would like to be near the action without having to take the S bahn to get some shut eye after partying all night. Then I thought if I am too close it will be impossible to get any sleep. I like to party like the next guy, but dont have the stamina I used to. Any suggestions on a good hotel bargain, especially from someone who has been there for New years? Thanks
