Hey everyone
i am traveling to spain in december where i am going to be touring around some architecture for a week and then i will be traveling around probally till the beginning of the new year. i would really like to travel through some of the smaller town or villages in the south of spain...any suggestions? is this a really bad time to go?

Better than not going. You´ll love it.

not a bad time at all, as far you're aware it's winter and it can be rainy and cold... (you seems to know that, but some people gets dissapointed when it's not "beach weather"). If you're lucky you can have wonderful sunny and warm days indeed, but who knows. The good point is having less people around, no queues... but some places may be closed. As well, be aware than around Christmas time will be peak season in some places, but in most places everything will close on festive days and it may be diffcult to find a place to eat (happened to me a couple of times, so unless you reserve, better have a b-plan (read as "prepare your sandwiches in advance").
