Looking for somewhere warm (teens/ low 20 C) for a budget break in February. 2 adults looking for a bit of culture but mainly beach time. Looked at Tenerife, Morocco and Greece too cold or expensive. We live in the UK and want short haul (max 6 hours). Loved Egypt. France, Spain, Turkey, Italy not hot enough. If anyone as any ideas, please give us a shout.

what about cyprus..I got sunburnt there in December and the apartments were very cheap..or crete.

Some strange notions of short haul here. However, you'll be hard pushed to find warm, beach weather on mainland Europe in February. Have you considered the Canaries?

I think that Dubai (or other places in UAE or the Gulf) are the closest places that will fulfill both the 6hours and the heat requirements) in addition to Canary or Madeira.

Tunesia? Temp will probably be as you wish - and in Djerba even in the high end - and relatively dry
