Hi,

I'm just about to head off for a few weeks around North France (Brittany) and will be coming back via the Channel Islands. We have no accomodation booked, and having looked online I'm slightly worried that what is supposed to be a cheap and cheerful holiday is not going to be so cheap afterall. I know this is because of school holidays and peak season, but that's what happens when you're holidaying with a teacher:(
We are flying to Dinard and travel back 2 weeks later via ferry from Gurnsey to Weymouth. Any advice/tips will be very welcome. Places to stay, things to do etc. I'm not looking for the cheapest necessarily. but definitely will be looking in the 'budget' bracket.

Many thanks
