Hello happy people:) The summer has started so its time to take our backpacks and surf into this beautiful world:)

As always winter was crazy, pockets are empty, PLAN B is ready! Many summers I was hitchhiking around Europe, looking for interesting, exotic and low-budget requiring places. As my heart can't stay in one place I have to move again. But this time I would like to concentrate all information in one place - open a website or blog for low-budget traveler and i need help for this idea. Any kind of help: creating comfortable website, ideas for places to visit (anywhere anything: squats, rainbow families, secret backpackers meetings, eco villages, free/cheap festivals,etc...)

Any information will help me a lot. More you can read on http://www.gofundme.com/rainbow-trip

Peace and love,
Teresa

Teresa, you can add most of that information to Hitchwiki. There's no need to start a new site, especially one for which you solicit donations.

Have I understood this correctly - you're asking for donations to fund your travels?

Sorry mate - I spend all my spare money on my OWN travels!

hmmm exactly - why should someone else pay for your travel? Websites can make money - and some do have donate buttons - but they are usually not added until the writer has developed a useful site which adds value for their readers - just a thought!

I think its a septic tank thing isnt it ???

Start a blog, have friends and family follow your travels and sooner or later something really bad will go wrong on the road like a theft of baggage or some wierd and wonderful accident were all the bloggers wordly goods have been lost..

Up pops the donation button on the blog with a heart wrenching story about how the blogger is stuck in Timbuktoo with little money, no phone, no camera, no computer, no clothes and a broken toenail...

Praise the lord..lol
