Hello everyone,

My best friend's wedding is on November 4th, 2008 taking place at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. I am planning to leave Toronto on October 27th to get a chance to 'see' parts of Italy before the wedding rehearsal on Sunday November 2nd. After the wedding I will be staying in Italy for another 5-7 days to continue my tour of Italy...Now I know it's quite a short time to see everything but I am trying to create some sort of itinerary for myself and I am in need of help. I am looking at 6 days (we are landing in Rome) before the wedding and another 5-7 days after the wedding for a total of 11-13 days....(with of course the wedding rehearsal and nuptials in between).

Looking for any suggestions on where I should go? I would like to see Rome, Venice, Milan, Florence though (if I could fit them all in one trip)

Thanks in advance...

Take a look at my friend's wedding website if you would like at: http://www.michaelandchristina.ca/

You won't get much chance, with friends etc there. And new friends too. Rome itself could take a week.

popperslist.com has history documentaries on about everything.

My Art History prof said, "If you can only go one place in Europe, make it Florence. Its the birthplace of the RennaISANCE."

And spend a night in a small villiage. Different and cheaper.

You'll be back. Europeans backpack into thier 70's. And not just because its cheaper.
Done it all ways, but its bp for me, from now on. Folksier, warmer.

Have fun!
