hello,
we are arriving on saturday 14th early evening in lisbon for 10 days.Is it possible that time of the year to find cheap double bed with shower and little clean too ? or better book something before ?
our budget is like max 40 euro a room with breakfast,can we find that nowadays in the city ?
we are chearching relax time in the daytime,better go out of the city way north or south to a beach or fishingvillage ?

Personally I'd book something before you arrive even if its just for your first night. July is a busy time of year everywhere so for my peace of mind I'd have something booked. I stayed at the Oasis Backpackers Mansion which I believe has private double rooms, its a lovely hostel - very modern and more like a 3* hotel in my opinion. I loved Lisbon and if I can help you further just drop me a line!

thanks a lot ,all ideas are welcome ,we found cheap discount on the costa/south and good for exploring more of that region more south.
any ideas,tips for food,bars,parties,livemusic are welcome for the evenings...
are beaches north from sintra interesting for a daytrip or more ?
we like seafood a lot ,any recommendations not to expensive ?

Lisbon was one of my favourite places. Try Julia's suggestion of the Oasis in Lisbon, it was really nice. Also try the Lisbon Lounge... It was pretty cool also.
Sintra was amazing. And if you want a beach try somewhere on the Algarve. You might want to give Lagos a miss due to the summer onslaught of rowdy backpackers! But it's pretty around that region. Have fun!
