As always, Thanks for coming to my rescue.
Well, the plan now is to get a Round Trip Tickets to Cuba. I'll spend a week or two in Cuba, and then off to Yucatan. Maybe also Belize, Guatemala and more as long as my money holds. And when the date comes, I'll be heading back to Cuba and then fly home. I figure that is the simplest and cheapest way.
....and just confirming, if I did the above by theory when I get in again, I should get another 30 days in Cuba with another Tourist Card, yes? Won't be fun being an illegal tourist :)
I would love to do a one way trip to all the places, but I've been looking at SkyScanner and One way to anywhere is more expensive than round trips.
As for the ticket prices in details (Both in Round Trips):
Jakarta-Narita: $400 With AirAsia
Narita-Havana: $1800 With AirCanada or something (I got this from a Japanese Travel Agent)
And
Jakarta-Havana: $2700 Got this with SkyScanner
I've also tried putting up a one-way through USA, and after trying JKT/SIN/KL and SF/LA, this is the cheapest I can get:
Jakarta-Singapore: $30 With AirAsia
Singapore-San Fransisco: $750
San Fransisco-Mexico: $135
Mexico-Havana: $450
So...$1400 or so for a one-way trip. And I assume it is at least that much doing another one-way to go back home through wherever. So for now, the Round Trip through Japan sounds better.
But......
Max, mind telling me a good country in Europe to go with? So I can try it? I'm thinking France right now. But I guess you know better! :)
In anyway:
Jakarta-Paris: $480
Paris-Havana: $500
Courtesy of Condor!! This is one way, so I'd say pretty good price!! What do you think? I've also tried doing the numbers for round trip and one-way trip back. All end up almost the same as going through Japan (Around $2200-$2400). Nice!!!
Lastly, I am planning to go ASAP in May. I hope I can sort this all out by next week. Then maybe I'll buy the tickets and depart 2 weeks after that. Or 1 week if I am lucky. The prices above are done by searching May and July (Trying to come back before the middle of July).
Oh, and why am I not including Yucatan, Belize, and all the others in this flight plan? Mmm, because I still can't say for sure if I'll be going there at all. I'm gonna head to Cuba first, and then make things up as I go along. A little bit of freedom is never bad.
