Then we agree.
OP gave a budget, 2 choices and willingness for adventure. Based on those criteria, Asia makes the most sense. And looking at other posts, he's a 25 y.o. guy looking to drink and party (although other posts also indicate he will/wants to travel to both Europe and Asia). He did not say, "i want to see museums" or "castles really turn me on". A first time traveller, with a limited budget, looking to drink himself into a self-induced coma, he needs an easy place with a high concentration of other similar minded travellers. Personally, i am over SE Asia and won't be going back any time in the near future. Yet based on the information provided, it makes the most sense.
Yet again, TravelwithoutStyle, take out your personal preferences and incredibly biased views on the world and actually suggest something in the OP's best interest.
I think with $7k you can have a great time anywhere you go to. If you can save on cheap flights to southern Europe like Greece or Italy, that may compensate for extra expense you may have on daily base. Flights to most Asian countries I believe are double then what I paid when I went from Tampa, Fl to Greece.
Hell, you can probably come to Europe on $4k for few weeks and have enough to still go to Asia. Why not? I would do it. My last trip to Thassos, Greece was two weeks long and came under $1.5k which included renting rooms from locals, eating fast food and drinking local beer. Hope that helps.
Love the way you attempt to mis-direct fluffy. I think I've told you that before.
Which part of my answer to the OP's question is it you think you are disagreeing with?
"Cg_explorer, your question is actually easy to answer if you think about it. Which one interests you more? That is the one to go to."
