Hi everyone.
I've bought an one-way flight form Poland to Brazil. As far as I know I won’t be let into Brazil (actually I won’t be even let on board of a plane) if I don’t have a return or onward flight. My plan is to buy a return or onward flight and cancel it after arriving to Brazil. Do you know which airline is the best to do so? By “the best” I mean a full refund. So far I checked the Polish air line LOT and the cancellation fee is about 30 euro. Does anyone know an air line which doesn't charge anything?
BTW I'm aware of the fact that the more expansive ticket the more refund I'll get. But I'm ready to freeze some money as long I get all of it a couple of weeks later :)

Thanks for your help.

Kris

As far as I know every airline will apply an "administration fee" of a few tens of euros to ticket refunds.

I can say only that LOT is very good company.

Hiya,
It's good to hear that someone praises out national airline, coz we Poles like to complaine a lot about it :) BTW, do you think it's a very good company coz it's cheap (cancellation fees wise) or provides a good service?
I guess you are right Aribo :( However I guess there's no harm in asking :) Maybe there is one airline which dosn't charges fees :)
So if anyone knowes THE ONE, please let me know.

Cheers

Kris

if you buy a full fare fully refundable ticket (very expensive) and pay by ctredit card it shouldn't cost you anything as it gets refunded to your credit card.
i did it several times in Australia and NZ to get around visa regulations.

HI,

If this is only for visa purposes you could also try to get a dummy ticket to show your return in case you lose out some money on buying a new ticket and then canceling it.
they don't check your booking online but just need the ticket for confirmation that you're planning to exit.
