I live in the U.S. in western Colorado part of the year and the other part I spend in various parts of Oaxaca. My heart and soul feel best when I am in the state of Oaxaca! I have begun a project to try to help the people in the state of Oaxaca by providing videos showing different parts of the state and highlighting some of the places where I explore, stay, and eat. I get no compensation from anyone, rather I am just trying to help the people there receive more income through tourism. It's a…

Hey everyone!

I just recently started a blog and I was wondering, what makes a blog great? When you are reading, what content do you usually look for? What does it need to have in order for you to enjoy reading a blog?

My blog can be found at kirinslifestyle blog, I would really appreciate if any of you can critique my blog. I am open for any improvements that I can make in order to best interest people in the travelling community.

Me and my friend (both students) went for a 5day hike on mount Kenya on the 29th of august. With our guide John, we took the sirimon route to acces Lenana peak. The route is very scenic and provides either lodges or campgrounds as accomodation. Though I would recommand the lodges for a little bit of comfort as it is very cold at night. You can either choose to make it to the summit in 4 or 5 days though 5 days gives you time to accomodate a little more thus improving your chances of succes. Our…

Why is it that Instagrammers get so many more opportunities and more money than bloggers these days?

I'm not complaining; I'm asking for explanations and, more importantly, looking for solutions.

According to a quick calculation I did, a blog post that gets just 500 views a month generates the same amount of attention as an Instagram post on an account with 100,000 followers. Going rates for such an Instagram post is about $1,000. But for a such a blog post... roughly $0. (You can see the post

Hello everyone.
Just left Kosovo a week ago and I have managed to put together a three blog posts about it. I went from Skopje to Pristina with bus. Visited Mitrovica. Spend some time in Prizren before heading to Albania. If it helps anybody, here is a few tips: https://busygoingnowhere.com/2018/09/27/tips-and-thoughts-on-traveling-in-kosovo/.

Hi,

I would like to introduce myself. I am a 31 years traveler currently living in northern Sweden. In the past few years, I have moved from place to place and faced all the difficulties that come along. Therefore I wanted to share my adventures with the world and help others with their questions on different issues you might face when wanting to emigrate.

Please feel free to visit my blog! :) www.newplacenewlife.com

Happy traveling!

Alex

We truly enjoy getting out of the larger cities and going to some smaller towns, so our trip to Würzburg was a perfect example of that. It has the old-world charm, friendly people, and wonderful food. The Residenz is definitely the largest thing to see when visiting, but just walking the streets of old town is also fascinating. We were there in late November, so the Christmas markets were also going with a wonderful variety of crafts and food on display.

One of the reasons that we like going to…
