Torans of Sanchi Stupa - Bhopal

I have been writing a series about the greatest gates of my country - India. I believe the great gates - important both architecturally or historically - hide a lot of history in it. While some were meant to protect the citizens, some were to show the might and greatness of its creator. There are some gates which acted like an open book of religion for the passerby.
