I found the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens surprising in a few ways. There was quite a contrast between the exotic plants and other features, and the very British feel of the place. Yes it is a lovely place and well worth a visit. Have always wanted to stay at the Rock as we have a thing about historic hotels, maybe one day !
