so which side are you on?
Do you like the mountains? Or do you prefer the beaches?

Read on to find out who wins in this never-ending battle!!!

I like both. I grew up close to sandy beaches. The nearest beach used to be part of my playground when I was a kid. Swimming, diving, playing beach volley. Maybe that's the reason I never make a beach resort a goal on my travels. I still like to go to a beach in places I haven't visited before and go for a swim, or a walk with drink at a beach bar.
Otoh, mountains have always been a big draw for me. I've done several trips to Himalaya, Karakorum, the Andes with mountain trekking as the main goal. I like particularly places that are less visited and still unspoilt, with very little or no signs of human presence.

Maybe get a new partner! i personally love both and do both on most of my holidays so no need for a battle both have their merits. It is also just as easy to find a secluded beach as it is a mountain these days certainly if you do head to Switzerland in either of the peak seasons don't expect mountain serenity.

I like both for different reasons. I would hike the mountains for views and would sit calmly (rather than dipping in ) on the beach watching a sunset.
