1A. 1A is my solitude. It’s my favourite seat on the airplane. It’s a place, where for an hour or two or three, I can be totally alone. Even if the plane is full, I can just sit and be quiet. That is, unless somebody sits beside me who wants to chat. Knowing that there is always the possibility of a Chatty Cathy plopping down beside me, I plan for it. Like a good Boy Scout, I’m prepared.
