Hiya Pathfinders!
What have you filmed this month? Share the link of your best travel related video below, for the chance to be selected as the Pathfinders video of the month and featured on the Lonely Planet blog. If your video is chosen, we’ll also add it to our Pathfinders playlist on the Lonely Planet YouTube channel.
To be considered for the video round-up, you must provide a brief synopsis of your work (100 words max) including the video title, destination(s) covered, theme (adventure, solo travel, food-focused, packing tips, etc.) and style (vlog, visual montage, tips/hacks etc.).
To be eligible, the video needs to be no shorter than 1 minute, and no longer than 6 minutes, and already live on YouTube. Vimeo submissions will also be accepted, but if chosen, they’ll only appear in the round-up on our blog. Unfortunately we are not able to accept Facebook submissions due to us not being able to feature them in the final blog post.
You can post on the thread a maximum of 3 entries for the month. Entries beyond this limit we won't be able to consider. Please disclose any sponsorship of the original video or travel covered (as part of it) in your synopsis.
Here’s an example:
Title: A tour of Toronto
Destinations covered: Toronto, Canada
Theme: food and activities
Style: vlog (out and about)
Synopsis: The flavours, aromas, sights and sounds of almost every nation converge peacefully in the streets of Toronto's neighbourhoods. Kristen Sarah takes us on a tour of her favourite city hot spots.

(Note, if you do not provide a synopsis, your submission will be considered spam and it will not be viewed by our editorial team.)
Don’t forget, we are looking for:
Top quality, engaging videos with clear audio and stable camera shots.
Valuable travel advice/insight from a unique perspective.
Excellent visuals.
Videos published in the month of September only.
Deadline for submissions: midnight (BST) 31 September 2018.
If successful, we will let you know in this thread and PM you with more details.
Successful applicants will feature in the blog post on lonelyplanet.com and we will link to your YouTube (or Vimeo) profile.
Best of luck!
