Title: Morocco - I Love it, I Hate it

Destinations covered: Morocco

Theme: Pros and cons of traveling through Morocco

Style: Informative

Synopsis: Despite my love / hate relationship with Morocco, it’s a country I would love to visit again! There’s something enchanting about this destination and its unique set of smells, sounds and sights. I road-tripped around the country for two weeks and the memories I cherish are wonderful – sleeping under the stars, riding camels in the desert, drinking tea with locals and exploring medinas in-between.

However…it can be a really tough country to travel through. I’ve never been harassed so much and aggressively in my life and it’s exhausting. At some point, every time someone started talking to me I felt like running away and hide (I even did run away twice), which is not something I’d normally want to do.

Title: Short walks for young kids in the Peak District

Destinations covered: Peak District UK

Theme: short walks for young kids

Style: descriptions and maps for short walks in the Peaks

Synopsis: There’s nothing better than a long walk across the Dales, over drystone walls, towards a good old English pub for lunch. Pre-kids we used to grab an Ordnance Survey map and hike for a good few hours before drying off and warming up in front of a cosy log fire with a pint. When the boys came along it was fine doing these walks with them in the back carrier, but since the age of two we have wanted to encourage them to do a walk all on their own. In collaboration with the Ordnance Survey as part of their #GetOutside program, this is a selection of our favourite short walks for young kids in the Peak District, UK. Walks are between 1 and 2 km long and the majority are circular.
