Creating a travel website

Hello everyone! I am thinking of documenting my travels by creating a travel website. Unfortunately, I don't have a big budget to hire a website developer or a website designer nor do I have the expertise to code a website on my own so I have to resort to using a website builder for that since it's the most affordable one.

What do you think of website builders? Are they good?
Should create a free website or purchase a domain name for my travel website?

I'm looking at the hPage Website Builder- https://www.hpage.com in creating my travel blog because they apparently have the blog feature and a slideshow gallery which I think will be perfect for my photos. Has anyone tried creating a website with them? Any reviews?

Go with a Wordpress blog or a Wix / Squarespace website. They're more than just "blogs" and you can make some amazing things with them these days.
