Hello All!

It's the age old question that bloggers have been asking since the dawn of the internet. What makes you keep on returning to a blog to read it? What do you find exciting?

I don't think any one person has an answer to this, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. Why? Because
I'm pretty new to the blogging space and launched by website, The Tea Time Adventurer. I want to know how to improve it and build a community! I'm trying to write about my trips as a solo traveler and from my work experiences in the hospitality and aviation industries.

Please let me know what you think. I want to hear from you!

Hi there!

You’re right, there’s no one answer - we were asking this not so long ago ourselves. Ultimately I think it depends on what people are looking for at the time, but we have always found that we get the most interest if we have travelled somewhere that most people haven’t, and likewise we are always looking for information about places that aren’t often visited and blogs are the first place we go.

Our blogging has been focussed around our videos and Instagram, and we have just opened up a Tumblr to start doing written blogs as well. The most important thing that we have learnt after six months of nonstop travel and documenting of said travel is to decide why you are blogging. Travel blogs are a hard thing to get to the forefront these days (and we have had many ups and downs with it already) and for us, even though we want to share our journey with as many people as possible, we need to remember that the main reason we are doing it is to have a living, breathing account of our adventures to share with our family and friends as well reflect on for ourselves in the future. Don’t let driving the success of your blog overpower the joy of creating it!

All that said, your website looks great! You have got a couple of new readers right here.

I enjoyed reading your blog with a cup of tea as you suggest - I especially enjoyed the Japan section and fully concur with you regarding language !

Thank you for all of your thoughts and imput so far.

It's so important to me to be able to share my adventures with others so they might be able to have their own. I love blogging because it gives me the medium to relive my trips and go through the journey a second time as you have.
