I'm not sure if this is the best thread but basically I plan to travel longterm in a motorhome. No base other than my mothers mailing address in the UK. However I'm having difficulty finding European break down cover for over 180 days (the AA did however quote £1100 for 11 months - this seemed a bit steep). Also what if I go to out of the EU? - as a lot of plans dont cover this either.
Could I get breakdown cover from the individual cover from each country I am in - or would I need to be resident…
Hi Everyone,
I'm getting the word out for a new teacher resource I am building based on the experiences of people who have taught overseas. The site is called www.OnePen.org.

If you have taught overseas, please check out the site and post about your experience. There are so many people out there who will benefit from being able to easily find first hand experiences about these things!
Cheers,
Greg.

May be i am just stupid or misinformed or i don't know how it works.
How do people get money or income by having a website, ( i am not takling about a website that sells things).
For example if i have a website about my country ( information for tourists, costs, places to visit etc) how do i earn some income?
How does this thing work?
I am sorry if this a stupid question but i just dont have the necessary knowledge.
Thanks
Hey yall
My name is Aleksis and I am currently a sophomore in college. I am planning on studying abroad next fall semester (a year from now) and have pretty much narrowed my options down to two, fairly comparable, programs in Madrid and Buenos Aires. I was just wondering what everyone out there would recommend. I've traveled quite a bit and have lived abroad but never in South America. I love big cities and nightlife but also enjoy getting out into nature. I'm planning on doing a lot of traveling…
I have a very good friend who is currently living in Ireland for a few years. She is originally from Canada (Winnipeg, Manitoba to be more precise). I would desperately love to send her a care package of things she might be missing. I have visited Ireland but it's so long ago I've kind of forgotten what things we have here (in Canada) that are not for sale (or at least very hard to come by) in Ireland (specifically, Dublin). Can anyone help me? I know I could just ask her but if I could come up…
Hello guys. Just dropping in here because it seems as though this is the best place for relatively well-informed information when it comes to immigration matters (hours of patient Googling have turned up very little as far as my individual situation goes). I'll give the bare-bones version of our story and see if anyone might have any advice for poor, confused me.
My partner and I are currently living in New Zealand on working holiday visas - I'm an American citizen and he's from the UK, although…
Have a look and tell me if you want to come:

this is a tricky one...
I'm off for a long travel RTW and I would like to come back with a driving licence I could easily exchange in a European country... :)
my best option might be a UK exchange... they do exchanges with various countries such as New Zeland
... since I'll be there soon, I could get a licence there... surely it will be cheaper and easier... ???
dont you think?
:)
tricky...
thanks very much in advanced

I'm really curious about this:
Apparently a Brit is running a backpackers in Lusaka, Zambia, he has no actual connection with the place, how would he manage to arrange a long term visa like that? (For anywhere, not just Zambia!)
What countries issue these kinds of visas and what do you generally need?
Hello everyone!
I’m finally 30 and planning to leave my small town next year to relocate somewhere more interesting (somewhere in Europe at this stage).
I’m writing a thesis and on a scholarship so, while I’m not rolling in it, I do have some kind of regular income (lets say a little over 950 euro/month).
I’d like to move somewhere where there’s enough social & cultural life & people-meeting opportunities going on to nudge me out of much feared study-isolation and not quiiiite so much macho…
