Hi, I am a female who is looking to go to the Middle East for an extended stay. I am looking to stay somewhere where I can go to an intensive language program and also find work. I currently have no degrees, most of the work I have done involves working with people who are developmentally disabled. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thank you.

Without a degree things get complicated. In terms of aid work, there isn't much in the Gulf States (Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar or UAE). As for English teaching, the only one you can work in without a degree is Yemen. We do have several western women working here (in Yemen) and studying arabic is surprisingly popular.
I agree. Having a degree will help to set you apart and increase your chances of finding, not just a job, but a good job.
I have actually contemplated living abroad in Israel for 2 years (in 2 years) and would like to hear suggestions people have. I do have a bachelors, speak a bit of Hebrew and work in social media. I can't imagine it would be too difficult to get a job, but I don't know the proper steps to making it happen.
Oh and I also have dual citizenship.
Hey Tyrian -
I suggest learning new skills BEFORE leaving. That way you will have for options for finding work.
I recommend learning skills in the tech industry, like how to setup blogs and websites, graphic design, freelance writing, internet marketing, or any other work you can do online.
This will open you up to many more opportunities. When i first started out, I did blog setups and freelance article writing to help support myself and have since moved on to internet marketing.
There really are hundreds of ways of to make money online, from being a service provider like SEO (search engine optimization), social media marketing manager, blog setups, web/graphic design, video production, etc...
Or you can learn how to be an affiliate marketer or create and sell your own products.
I taught myself a lot of different marketable skills using nothing but Youtube tutorials. All the information to learn a skill can be found on the internet for free.
If you have the discipline to study an hour or two a day instead of going to a lengthy costly school, you can teach yourself a couple different skills in a month that you can use to support yourself.
If you're interested, I have a website where I give away a free eBook and video series on how to get a website up and running within an hour from now and how to drive traffic to it to gain customers. click here http://workandtravelanywhere.com
If you only learn one extra skill to help yourself find work when traveling, marketing would be it. You have to let people know you exist and what you can offer them, even helping the disabled.
Get your name out there.

Of course, #5's job of internet marketing is replying to questions on forums, telling other people how they can make money replying to other people on forums, who will then do exactly the same.
His theory is good, but anyone who offers a "free downloadable e book" on how to make money in marketing is not, in my opinion all that it seems.
