Hi I'm also thinking of going to Nicaragua to study Spanish. I have some questions about your experience.

1) Were there a lot of gringos around where you studied? I find it more difficult to stick with Spanish when I'm surrounded by English speakers!

2) How much Spanish did you speak before you arrived?

3) Were their teachers experienced enough to teach higher levels of Spanish?

4) Is this the sort of place where one could study long term?
