Hi, I'm considering traveling to Djibouti as a reporter, and I was wondering if Djibouti has a journalist visa I have to apply for, and what the Djibouti government's attitude is towards foreign journalists (I'm American.)

If you have any information about this, please reply! Thanks,

Hunter

Hello fellow American broadcaster.

I also work in media and broadcasting. Here is a website I found a while back for finding video production jobs abroad:

http://www.tvz.tv/jobs

Never actually got a job from this site, but it has listings from around the world. A few in africa too. You could also buy your own gear and become a stringer in Djibouti.... maybe not. Also, the UN has photography and media jobs all the time that are placed around the world. If you ever get that job, please let me know.

Good luck, and either way I'm always looking for new video jobs abroad, so let me know how you go.

Send me a message if you remember too or email me.
Cheers!

How come you don't go to the country's gov't site and find out?
