Teaching in Turkey

Any experience? Any knowledge of schools, teachers' lives, related info? I'm a grad student in the area of education and have the option of completing my practicum in Istanbul. I'm from the U.S. and have traveled throughout Europe. I can also go to several parts of Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland (Geneva), Englad and Ireland but I feel like pursuing the Istanbul option.
