I am looking for some options into teaching English in Thailand. I don't want to commit to a 1 yr contract and am considering one of several TEFL schools. One in Ban Phe, the other in Phuket. They both offer the TEFL certification for $500 & $750 respectively assuming you sign on to teach in Thailand for 4 months (@$900/mo.) after the 1 month TEFL course. Does anyone know anything about these schools or this plan? I need some first hand advice as I have very limited knowledge of the subject.
