Umm, Keimbeggra, Canada has the lowest overall crime rate in the world. Nicaragua is second. Leave crime rate of your list. You can also leave off social welfare net, gun laws and presidents, when speaking about Canada. N. America consists of 3 countries, not just the USA.

sorry i just jumped on the yanks thing - wasn't meant for Canada - got off the topic there - and I know that there are three countries in NA - visited one, live right now in another one and got at least with in 100 miles of the third one ( till my car decided to take arest..)

Actually most of us yanks are oblivious to the rest of the world and furthermore, are told it is very scary and uncivilized outside the states. When walking about in Paris I'm inclined to agree.
