Im currently a UK resident but looking into living and working in Toronto.

Can anybody give me some advice/contacts for applying for jobs over there.

I have contacted a few recruitment agencys but i need to go into there office to register and im not going out to canada for a while. I was hoping i could possibly find something through a uk based company.

Any information would be great!!!

Thanks.

What is your nationality? What makes you think you can just go to Canada and live/work? Do you want to emmigrate permanently? What skills/profession do you have?

Your post leaves out more information than it provides.

I did give you advice. Provide more information if you want relevant responses.

You have family over there, so what? Unless you have a spouse over there, they are of no use to you whatsover in regards to immigration. Did you know that? Your own Father, Mother, Brother or Sister does not qualify as a sponsor for immigration to Canada.

I KNOW about immigration to Canada from the UK. If you want to emmigrate to Canada, look at the CIC website. You will find that IF you can qualify (check on how many points you can score online) for a Skills Visa, it currently takes between 2-3 years to get the visa.

If you are eligible for BUNAC and only want to work/live in Canada for a short time, that's another story.

So I'll advise you once again. Provide more info.

Don't give up on asking questions here. There are lots of helpful people. Wayworn has been hanging around for years under a variety of different handles and needs to keep changing them because he is a grumpy old dude who is regularly banned. He is sorely in need of some hormone therapy but until he does that, my advice is to ignore him.

Note the rush to post advice as oppossed to my 'agressive' writing.
