Quote

if I lose my flight because of that reason, who is going to pay for that flight to get me out of Italy?

You are. If you try to enter a country without the appropriate visa (even if it is only in transit) you are responsible for all financial consequences this might have. If you don't have money to buy a ticket, the airline that you arrived on in Italy has to take you back to where you boarded the plane. These days, airlines are held responsible by the immigration authorities for letting people board who don't possess the appropriate travel documents or visas. So if you fly from Romania to Egypt without a valid visa and are caught in Milan, you will be sent back to Romania.
