Having more or less given up on TT for a while, I still check in to read the Spelling Bee thread. It seems to have fallen off the board, even though both I and Loscar replied in the past few days. I can only get it by going to my own profile.

Has this happened to other threads anyone is interested in? Does anyone know why this happened, or is this a stupid question this week?

I went to check out the protest site, but there is no language section on there.

yeah, it's even worse than before (sorry) when only biggies didn't always load upfront
there is a couple of other threads i can onyl acces through the search function
i saw the spelling bee around earlier on tho. maybe it is individualistic chaos now.

It's still there. Threads are now loading by "most recently published"...an option I don't remember being available yesterday, but is available today. Switch to "recently updated" and you'll see the Spelling Bee thread.

bjd,

In my TT4 there's a "sort" option (maybe it's new) where you can choose between "recently posted" or "recently replied". If you choose the second one, the Spelling Bee's thread will come in sight. The problem I see is that it tends to go back to "recently posted" each time you change branches, so keep an eye on that.

Another problem is with branches having sub-branches, like South America having a sub-branch for each country... when you go to the country branch the page is set automatically on "recently posted" when you change it to "recently replied" it takes you back to the Continental branch... so amusing!!! (sarcastic).

I've started watching the latest Spelling Bee thread, so it's definitely there and still being replied to. I think I found it through a User Search as bjd did. Once I did, I changed my settings to Watch This Thread so I wouldn't have to go looking for it again. I get updates to my email, which seems a bit redundant, but oh well.

I'm not sure what's working and what isn't. It seems to change daily. TT was all new to me only a month ago, and it's all new again!

Zashibis is right, Turnip; you can change the order in which the threads are displayed with the drop-down menu at the top of each branch. (It's a bit annoying that it forgets the settings as soon as you navigate away, but oh, well.) You're welcome of course to join the discussion in the Spelling Bee thread, by the way.
