shilgia,
Since Der Haß is masculine gender, would it not follow that Jüdischer Selbsthaß is correct?

#20 -- That's got to be right. I was relying on shilgia, usually a safe procedure although I don't know if she makes more claims for her German than I do for mine. Theodor Lessing's book was Der jüdische Selbsthaß which is probably where I got my -e from.
I have no idea what I should I have written in my mixed English and German sentence in #6 ("with jüdische Selbsthaß").
Vinny,
After the definite article Der, the weak ending of jüdische is used. But after mit I believe the adjective jüdischem is correct. So maybe you could say "with jüdischem Selbsthaß".

Quote

I believe the the intent is usually to put down this rich, exclusive group.

Oh, because someone is white, of Anglo descent and a Protestant makes them rich and exclusive? What about all those Appalachians?
I have the impression that in the 1970's, when suddenly everybody in N America was getting a label, whether it was African-American, Italian-American, Polish-Canadian, or whatever, WASP was invented to cover the rest of the population.
##19, 20, 21 -- My mistake. I was thrown off by the preposition "of", trying to turn it into a Genitiv by adding an "s". It should have been an "n". And if you want to be correct, I think it shouldn't get a capital J either, so you did that right, Vinny, and I didn't.

Quote

WASP was invented to cover the rest of the population.

I don't think those who use this term intend it to mean the rest of the population. As MB said, "To me it denotes a family that came over with the Mayflower, and is extremely privileged."
The wealthy descendants of the privileged English settlers who came to America during colonial times are in this group. Perhaps some of the less extremely privileged population have a resentment towards this group and someone (maybe a sociologist) coined the phrase to put them down.
#24, I do not believe 'n' is the correct ending for the dative singular case. It is the "Wemfall" case.
- I wasn't talking about the Dativ. You are, in relation to Vinny's with. But perhaps "of" should be thought of as "von", requiring a Dativ.
2. Even if I were talking about the Dativ, why would -n not be the correct ending for an adjective?
der neue Wagen
des neuen Wagens
dem neuen Wagen
den neuen Wagen
Isn't it?
#26,
Yes, if the definite article is used with the noun Selbsthaß ( dem jüdischen Selbsthaß) . But when you say mit jüdischem Selbsthaß the adjective would have a strong ending 'em'. If the nominative case is used (as Vinny mentioned he had read) the correct phrase is Der jüdische Selbsthaß. The objective (accusative) case would be den jüdischen Selbsthaß.
It becomes confusing when English and German are mixed together.
