That creation with the eggs looks terrible, doesn't it?

They do say it's a restaurant that specializes in eggs.

Oh, OK. I watched it without sound. (I'm in a library.)

I was fascinated by the guy eating a hamburger with a knife & fork. And don't Aussies think that an egg is a perfect burger topping, along with beets? In fact, I just found the Australian Food Standards folks nutritional values for "Hamburger, In Bun, With Fried Egg, Lettuce, Onion, Sauce, Takeaway Style." It is described as "Commercially prepared fried meat patty with fried egg, lettuce, tomato, onion and tomato sauce in a white bun as purchased in independent take-away food outlets."

So shilgia, what kind of pie do we get to eat?

Maybe something that looks like pie, but isn't quite pie. Quiche? US cobbler?

Actually I was going to make peach crumble tonight. (Having learned how to do it two weeks ago.) Maybe that will count for pie approximation?

Alternatively, if it gets stuck in the planning stage (because this morning the peaches didn't seem ripe enough yet), I will have almost made a pie-like thing, and that might be an adequate approximation, too.

You could make a European-style "tarte" -- i.e. with not top crust. That would also be approximately a pie.
