Hej!

I've been studying Swedish for a couple of years and I'm planning to spend 3 or 4 weeks next summer (July, August) in Sweden improving my skills.

I would like to study in a city, hopefully close to Stockholm if not in Stockholm itself.
So far I've found two schools in Uppsala that look good to me: Glossa (http://www.glossa-sweden.com) and UISS (http://www.uiss.org). Has anyone heard anything about these schools?

Does anyone know of other good schools in sweden that offer swedish summer courses, I'm currently in level B1.

Tack så mycket!

Try looking at SI:s Sommarkurs (www.si.se) - they offer a great course and you may even qualify for a scholarship. The downside is (or maybe not a downside at all, but since you want to be near Stockholm) that Swedish Institute usually chooses some quite remote locations for their summer courses (apparently, to cut down on costs) - for example, the course I took was in Kalix, which is in Norbotten, quite close to the border with Finland.
Last year I went to Billströmska, on the island of Tjörn (60 km from Gothenburg) - the course was organized by Riksföreningen Sverigekontakt. It was amazing, and the price was quite reasonable, especially considering that accomodation and meals were included. But again, it's far from Stockholm.
As for the schools you mention, I met people who took summer courses there and they had quite a good experience there, but neither school provided accomodation, which meant additional expenses.

Also, try Folkuniversietet in Uppsala - I think they might have a course in summer.
